Gorguts are one of the few prominent technical death metal bands who released impressive albums in the early nineties, before the genre stagnated and became solely preoccupied with showmanship. In the death metal tradition, 'Considered Dead' succeeds in achieving the hellish and gory sound fitting to its lyrics, but with a more impressive method.
