Coral Fang - Distillers

This is the thrid album for the distillers and the first for a major record label. I think this might explain why the music has gone for a more catchy mainstream feel to bulk up the sales numbers. Fronted by Brody Dalle, australian born and damn right GORGEOUS!!! her voice is heaven and this album does allow for more of that to come across than in past albums. A much softer album but you can still imagine writhing punk masses so theres still hope. This new album seems aimed heavily towards the general market to attract mainstream attention. The Distillers are normally known to be one of these hit and miss bands. Since performing at this years Reading Festival, it seems there popularity has grown even further than the band could gather. Straight off the CD of the last Album 'Sing Sing Death House' which brought the band a whole new popularity 'Coral Fang' brings a whole new energy where Brody Dalle the lead vox has something to sing and shout about. Brody Dalle brings her Distiller boys along for the outing of their third album, ?Coral Fang?, which sees a departure from their previous hardcore punk-rock style.
