Every band has their iconic album, their 'Best Of' that they dream of making. Bon Jovi have enjoyed decades of rock success, incorporating different styles into their music, and setting the benchmark for other rock bands to reach. Their 'Best Of' album was released in 1994 by Polygram Records and is entitled 'Crossroad'. It is a definitive album, and contains all the great Bon Jovi tracks up to the date of publication. These are the tracks: 1. Livin' On A Prayer 2. Keep The Faith 3. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night 4. Always 5. Wanted Dead Or Alive 6. Lay Your Hands On Me 7. You Give Love A Bad Name 8. Bed Of ... This album brings together most of Bon Jovi's big hits in a greatest hits style collection, although the tracklisting only goes up to the release of Always and doesn't seem to include anything from after that time in their career. There are a couple of 'new' tracks included that weren't big hits. For the purpose of this review, I'm going to pick out some of my favourite tracks from the album to discuss. ***Livin' On a Prayer*** The opening track of the album has backing that builds up slowly for almost thirty seconds and the main vocals come in after around 45 seconds. This song is a real sing-along affair, especially in the chorus. ***Keep ... Read the complete review

**Introduction** As one of the biggest rock bands of the 80's and early 90's Bon Jovi had many hits combining their blend of melodic stadium rock with rock ballads. Bon Jovi consists of Lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, Guitarist Richie Sambora, Keyboardist David Bryan and Drummer Tico Torres. The band also included bassist Alec John Such on many of their greatest hits but left the band in 1994 after a controversial interview. **Crossroad** Crossroad is the band's greatest hits album from their first album in 1983 to 1994 when the album was released. Their are two new songs on the album Always and Someday I'll be saturday Night. The album ... Read the complete review

This is the first Bon Jovi album I ever bought. "Cross Road", is a compilation of 15 Bon Jovi songs spread over the groups 5 albums, as well as the inclusion of 3 new tracks. All the old classics that most people know and love are on it. The album starts off with 'Livin' On A Prayer' - the song that everybody knows, no matter if you happen to be a fan or not. It is very well written. It is a big rock song with a great sing-along chorus, and hearing this song will instantly bring you back to the days of bad hair, bad fashion sense, and great music. Next up is 'Someday I'll Be Saturday Night', the first of the new songs. ... Read the complete review

In anticipation of going to the RDS in Dublin on the 10th June, to see the wonderfully amazing Bon Jovi (yes, I am quite fond of that Jovi Lad), I thought that I would write another review on one of their albums, and what better one to write about than their "Greatest Hits" album, so to speak, "Crossroads". Crossroads was compiled in 1994, with songs from all of Bon Jovi's previous albums plus two new songs, "Someday I'll be Saturday Night" and one of Bon Jovi's most well known ballads, "Always". How they ever picked which songs to put on this album, I don't know, but somehow they managed to pick ... Read the complete review
