Advantages: well crafted, well organized CD, meet any mood, nothing sticks out too much

Disadvantages: none

If you've seen Cruel Intentions, you understand that the movie contains the themes murder, deception, and sexual exploits. Sebastian and his step-sister Catherine are the ideal evil team in the beginning. The music, down to the opening song Every You and Every Me by Placebo helps to evoke these themes even further than the plot and the acting. Every You and Every Me is the perfect tune to introduce you to the selfishness of Catherine and Sebastian.

The music varies in mood based on the scene from the upbeat and cheerful Praise You to You Could Make a Killing, a very sad slow song. Nothing is overly cheery and upbeat assuring that the mood stays set, and can quickly be adjusted to meet the setting. Another cheerful, rather silly song on the soundtrack, is Coffee and TV. The song is very amusing and well crafted. The lyrics sung by this very high pitched male voice in falceto at the chorus make for a highly entertaining piece.

This soundtrack is the perfect CD for just hanging out, doing housework, homework, and adventuring on new creative endevours. The music doubles for many tasks. I could not recommend a better soundtrack investment to anyone.
