A very mature record, which I think is slightly superior also to their next album, En Mi Sangre. Cultura was actually the first album of theirs that I bought after seeing them on the highlights of the Download Festival on Tv - I had just got back to trying to learn Spanish and I thought their music sounded great and the lyrics might also help my Spanish!

For me, this is the best Breed 77 album yet! The band, mainly hailing from Gibralter but now, I believe living in London, are fantastically original and diverse, fusing Latino and Flamenco music with metal and rock music and creating great sounds for fans of any of those genres. The current line up is singer (Paul Isola), guitarists (Danny Felice and Pedro Caparros Lopez), bass player (Stuart Cavilla) and drummer (Óscar Preciado Zamora). Cultura (2004) is only their second studio album, yet they have already an amazingly complete sound here and is also very interesting and thought proviking lyrically.
