... when the agent I had spoken to would accidently put me on hold at the end of the call and would enjoy sitting there listening to the light and colourful lyrics on the album. Needless to say after hearing this I just had to go out and buy his music, but unfortunately couldn't get hold of this album at the time.

Jack Johnson is a singer-songwriter, filmmaker and surfer from Hawaii. Jack Johnson started off with a very promising career as a surfer and is the son of famous surfer Jeff Johnson. His surfing career was short lived as he had a nasty accident at the age of 17. Johnson really got into the music scene while at college where he wrote love songs, he later befriended fellow musician G Love who would use one of Johnson's songs 'Rodeo Clowns' on his debut album Philadelphonic. The song was heard by J.P Plunier who worked with Johnson to develop his debut album Brushfire Fairytales. I am a huge Jack Johnson fan and this is the only album of his that I don't own. ...
