Curtis is a complete flop no matter what way you look at it.Album Sales,Album Quality,Album Reception It Is Terrible. It is stunning ill say that much that somebody can't put this album out in shops and get paid.It Does NOT SOUND GOOD.The massacre was great production wise but how can a very intelligent man such as 50 cent put this out how many predectied kanye was going to out sell 50 how many bets where there. The production is heart wrenchingly bad the lyrics are the worst yet. From power of the dollar to this.It is mezmerising but now to the all important review -(The Tracks)- 1.Intro Some strange english talk on guns very intelligent ... 50 Cent is well known for being introduced to the music scene by Eminem, just as he was introduced to the industry by Dr Dre before him. This made them like a family, and that family environment was shown when they produced 50's debut track that saw him storm the charts, 'In Da Club'. Since then 50 has released a 2003 and 2005 album, and whilst he may not have matched the success of Eminem in a publicity kind of way, 50 has made his ambition clear to overtake Jay-Z as the richest man in hip hop and become the first billionaire of the industry. 50 is full of ideas that have helped him make this extra money, and that even features him branching out his 'family' by creating ... "Curtis", a self-entitled release, was the third official solo effort from the Queens, New York rapper 50 Cent in 2007. It was a pretty significant one of the time as its release was built up as one that would have 50 square up against Kanye West for sales against his "Graduation" release. As it went, commercially, Kanye beat him, and although predictably, 50 Cent didn't quit as he said he would if he lost the sales war, he did still have something worth listening to (as a change from his last release in 2005). 1. "Intro" 2. "My Gun Go Off" He takes things to a predictable place as he begisn the ... Read the complete review

I was very disappointed with this album. It doesn't have the same energy as the other albums, and just isn't nearly as appealing. It's just that the songs don't have the good beats like "The Massacre" or "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'". The album features many other artists, from old school, like Eminem, to new school, like Mary J. Blige. The mood of this album is somehow darker than the mood of the other albums by Curtis Jackson. This CD did not sell nearly as well as predicted, and that was blamed on the economy and increased piracy, because UMG refused to address the possibility that perhaps people are just getting tired of 50 Cent and that this CD just ...
