All That I Am - Joe
Great vocals, lyrics
A couple of slightly dated tracks.
Exposures: In Retrospect And In Denial - Dark Tranquillity
Excellent live performance, great chance to hear rare songs.
B-side material is mostly (and inevitably) forgettable.
Fairytales And Reality - Dionysus
Getting there.
Still in the shadow of other bands.
Feind Hort Mit - Stahlhammer
Some great songs
Requires a certain mood
Fiction - Dark Tranquillity
Good stuff
None
Angel Down - Sebastian Bach
80s rock brought into the 21st century
None
Angry Machines - Dio
A heavy, socially conscious effort from Dio and friends.
Inferior copy of Black Sabbath's 'Dehumanizer.'
Anima Mundi - Dionysus
Good vocals.
Otherwise disappointing.
Embrace Of Memory - Darkestrah
Some catchy, traditional black metal.
Later songs sound too similar, and less interesting.
For All Tid - Dimmu Borgir
Great historical atmosphere and melody.
Grating clean vocals, and fairly primitive execution.
