The opening song THE RAIN is a fast paced track with a great beat that kicks in with some vocals and a funky rhythm that needs to be turned up loud. One Love - David Guetta ... Love by David Guetta is a hidden gem! I have to admit until a few week ago i did not know much about David Guetta until I heard the Kelly Rowland hit When Love Takes Over which is fantastic. I had heard his name before but did not know who or what he did. Basically i have learnt that he is a very competent French DJ and the vocals for his songs have been performed by a number of top selling artists, this is paired with his ability to remix some of the best dance songs around. David Guetta to date has had 3 albums out which i admit I have never heard of but i have bought and enjoyed his 4th album One Love . The album is a mixture of electric, trance and dance tunes ... Bass Generation - Basshunter ... review of Bass Generation, the latest studio album by DJ/producer Basshunter. The album is available in the UK in physical and digital formats for around £8.00. The official iTunes UK version features fourteen tracks as standard, with an additional remix. The standard physical release is better value, with two discs. The first disc is as per the iTunes release; the second disc features a selection of remixes from this and previous albums. It has long been argued, behind closed doors and elsewhere, that I have only the barest of shreds of taste when it comes to music. It's Electric: The Sound Of The 80's ... called It s Electric: The Sound of the 80 s, so you are kind of knowing what to expect. Nice dittys from that decade that are synth-laden and maybe a little dark or quirky. So as expected you have Ultravox, Duran Duran, Human League, Thomas Dolby, Heaven 17. Then you have some bands that, although not electronic, it would be fair to say they were part of that scene. Say, Culture Club, Spandau Ballet. There is not a bad choice here, though the album does miss out some major players such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, John Foxx and Japan.
