La Peste - Alabama 3 ... Alabama 3 are an amorphous band of British musicians, formed in Brixton in the 1990s, whose number fluctuates with each album and performance - with members Rob Spragg (vocals), Jake Black and Piers Marsh forming the core. They are probably the best live band I have ever seen. La Peste was Alabama 3s second album released in 2000 following Exile on Coldharbour Lane . The album is now obviously getting a little long in the tooth. However I think it is still one of the most enjoyable, musically adept rip roaring albums of (relatively, depending on your age) recent times, and well worth a listen. Full On Vol.3 - Todd Edwards ... one of the most influential movers in House, Garage, and Electronica, Todd Edwards is loved by cognoscenti for his very distinctive style. As with One Dark Martian, fans will know a Todd Edwards track almost as soon as they ve heard it. His unique use of samples and his classical music training, together with his use of religious themes produces a very refreshing style that lacks some of the arrogant posturing of others on the scene.
