Whatever Happened To Benny Santini - Chris Rea

Premium Review Great debut album (848 words)

Rating:

B. McCoy, Chris got a contract with Magnet records & McCoy became his manager. Magnet records were owned by Michael Levy (a.k.a. The Very Best Of Chris Rea - Chris Rea

Premium Review The Road to hell (329 words)
by benlepensive - written on 21/02/09 (Very useful, 60 readings)

You can literally hear the pitter patter of the rain on the car windscreen and sense the gloom. It is a dark and brooding song and a fine way to start the album. ...

Premium Review Blue Jukebox (111 words)
by Bryn2705 - written on 08/07/05 (Somewhat useful, 195 readings)
Rating:

studio offering by Chris and his first since his 2003 release Blue Street. This album marks a distinct return to a more basic jazz/blues style and will go a long way towards dispelling the MOR tag. Chris s voice just seems to get better and better with real leanings towards the bar room sounds of Tom Waites (no bad thing) My ...
