      Very helpful

Nonstop rock from one of the best bands of the 80s.

"Dawn Patrol" is the debut album by American hard rock band, Night Ranger. It was released in 1982 on Boardwalk Records and produced by Pat Glasser. The line-up for the album was Jack Blades (vocals/bass), Jeff Watson (guitar), Brad Gillis (guitar), Kelly Keagy (drums/vocals) and Alan Fitzgerald (keyboards).

One of the most underrated albums of the 80s, "Dawn Patrol" rocks. Every song is a heavy hitter that delivers twin guitars and melodic vocals. Although most people lump Night Ranger into the glam category, they are so much more than their image. Their talent far outweighs the clothing and hair styles of the time.

"Don't Tell Me You Love Me" features impressive guitars from start to finish. It is an instant air guitar classic. The drums add to the heavy feel of the song.

"At Night She Sleeps" features more keyboards and synthesisers than the rest of the songs. It doesn't detract from the song, but does give it a bit more of a glam feel than any other on the album.

For an all out rocker, give "Eddie's Coming Out Tonight" a listen. The guitar work is nothing less than impressive, and the thundering of drums adds another dimension to the heaviness of it. The chorus is a fun, catchy bit that makes you want to rock.

This is definitely an all out effort from the band, and they show just what they can bring to the party. This album is one of the best of the 80's, blending hard rock and all out fun. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to expand a rock collection.
