Dawson's creek, a drama series about 5 teenagers (6 till Andie left, sob..sob) has an amazing soundtrack. While watching I always seem to find myself thinking how perfectly the songs were chosen to match each scene and also how much I would love to have some of the songs on Cd so I could sing along with them. Now I can and so can you, with Dawsons Creek volume 1 and 2 out to by in most good entertainment shops such as Virgin and HMV and they only costs around £10.99 each. Both album covers have a picture of the four main cast members on the front, which if your a Dawson's Creek fan will attract you straight away. I dont own volume 1 so I cant ... I had just about had my fill of the Songs from Dawsons Creek 1 cd and was hoping for a second filling when lo and behold there is was. I actually managed to buy it on special offer at Cd-wow for £6.99 which made it even more appealing. There is a selection of 17 songs which have at one time accompanied all the antics of Pacey, Dawson, Joey, Jen and co and needless to say many of them relate to anxieties and the stresses of life in general. 1. JESSICA SIMPSON - I THINK I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU For me there is little doubt that Jessica Simpson represents everything "Dawson's Creek (DC)", this song could even replace the title tune and I think ... I must say that although I do try to follow the series as much as I can, I am not a true die hard fan of the series, but one thing I definely am is a big fan of all the songs from Dawson's Creek. After all the waiting, Volume 2 is finally out. If you liked the first album, definitely get this one. Almost all of the songs are from Season 2 of the series. There are 19 songs in the UK release of the albums (with six bonus tracks) including big names like Jessica Simpson with the song I Think I'm in Love With You and A1 with Heaven by Your Side. There are a number of fantastic ballads in the album which include classics like Daydream Believer sung ... Read the complete review

I haven't got a clue about Dawson's Creek, I've never watched the programme in my life and am unlikely ever too. From what I can ascertain from the kids on the street its a modern day version of Heartbreak High or Beverley Hills 90210, if that's wrong please forgive me. What we get though is 13 songs from the series and the lovely chaps at Columbia have chosen another 6 bonus tracks for our listening pleasure. It gets off to an impressive sugar coated start with Jessica Simpson. The teenage lolita groans her way through the Mariah Carey lite of "I Think I'm Love With You", its the classic single that we heard earlier in the year ... Read the complete review

I know an album is in a different league to a TV program, but I would rather listen to this CD that watch the show anyday. What is it with these American teeny shows, they always have great soudtracks, and stage for new and fresh talent and this disc is no exeption. Containing some classic tracks by bands that, though popular in the US, have done little over here. For example, "Five For Fighting", a great band with a great album but have done little over here. To come to a rather blunt ending, a fantastic album ! ... Read the complete review
