Released in 1991, De La Soul presented their second album, "De La Soul Is Dead" to follow on from the success of their debut album, in which they came with notable singles, "Buddy", "The Magic Number" and "Me, Myself and I". Where do you start with this amzing album. First of all after the smash world wide hit that was 3 Feet High..... it was alwasy going to be hard for De La to repeat that. So they didnt try to, they killed off the Dais image an created a new image yet keeping the same ol' emphasise on the message in the song and of course having fun. This album was not any where near as successful as 3 Feet High.. but in my mind and a lot of others as well this is infact a greater piece of work.
