This is one of my favourite records of all time. The number of styles used to create what is essentially an electronic record are phenomenel, with soul, rock, metal and all sorts creeping in. From the reggae-inspired All That Glitters, to the unforgettable crown pleaser Dirt with its growling guitars, to the obscure but wonderful Rematerialsed, everything on this album demands to be listened to. Initially, I was unconvinced by all but Dirt - but perseverance convinced me (and many of my friends) that Dead Elvis is one of the albums of the 90s. ... Read the complete review

Space Rock? Phsychedelia? Hip Hop? Indie? Dance? Into any of these? Well you just can't place this band's sound, it's in the eclectic category for sure! What death in vegas master in, is a maelstrom of noise. And at times, it's fabulous. Richard Fearless is their leader, a DJ and artist in his own right. And he leads the group from the chilled hip hop fueled intro of All that Glitters, through gradually more trippy beats, into the awesome riff driven noise that is Dirt, and beyond.
