Advantages: Some Great songs, All unreleased tracks, Nearly all his own stuff

Disadvantages: Not his best album

As a massive Snoop Dogg fan I am always looking for his latest albums and when I heard that this one was coming out I just had to purchase it. This album has been released on Death Row records even though he left them to join No limits this was because all the tracks on this album were produced while e was still at Death Row so thy have all the rights to the songs. Even though this album has not been released in the shops yet in England have have managed to get it off the internet and it has been quite successful I have heard in the US. All the tracks on the album are unreleased so this album will be full of tracks no-one has heard off so the album will be a big surprise to most people. On the back cover it shows him in a coffin which would represent that his time at Death Row is dead.

There is a big variety on the tracks with all of the tracks being different in many ways because you have tracks like Tommy Boythat have a more up tempo funky beat to them and you have tracks like C-Walkin that are slow and cold and have a purpose to tell a story about his life so you get all sorts on this album. My favorite track on the album is Head Doctor this is because it has a upbeat feel to it as well as being lyrically great and you have parts wrer thay just have lyrics so you get a goo combinaion and this could be said for many of the tracks on the album.

As you can see from above that there are not many people actually in the tracks so it is an album that he has done by himself compared to his other albums like Tha Last Meal and Doggy Style were he did calaborations with a lot of different rap artists so if it does become massive he will get all the credit. This album is not his best i woul
d have too say but i would'nt say it is his worst album either because of the varieation of the tracks.

I think that some of the better tracks on the album are

Head Doctor
As i said above it is an upbeat song combined with pure lyrics so it is a great combination. The lyrics have a meaning and paint a story which is very important in a rap song. In my opinion the best track on the album because it is one that contains everything and jut stands out.

Tommy Boy
Another one of the upbeat tracks on the album and he collaborates with Daz on this one so you have to different styles of voices which gives the track an edge. It has a constant beat that you can bop along to as well. You have the sound of a piano or synthesizer in the backgroung which stands out because he does'nt normally use these instruments in his tracks.

In overall i think that the album would be a great buy even though some music critics have slated this it is still a fairly good album and covers a wide range of different styles and beats so it covers a wide audience. I would say it is not his best album but still has some great songs too listen too. Might have too wait a while for it to be released in England if it ever is but you can still get it off the internet.
