Advantages: Good heavy metal songs

Death Magnetic is the album Metallica needed to make. St Anger was the first album of theirs that I bought (aged 12) and after all the hype around these God's of metal it was a huge let down. Thankfully I gave them a second chance and I was very much rewarded. Metallica are most defenitely back and although there is no Enter Sandman or Master of Puppets on Death Magnetic there are still some awesome songs. The End of the Line, The Day That Never Comes and The Judas Kiss are personal favourites but the entire album rocks. Heavy riffs, vocals and killer drums delivered with a passion and intensity make this album great. Now Metallica are back on form and can show the thousands of young heavy metal bands what they should be striving towards. They've turned it around after the disappointment of their last album and delivered something more than people expected. I'm already waiting for the next one!
