Death Of A Dead Day by Sikth is a multi-faceted beast of an album from a criminally underated and sadly no longer existant metal band. It is a shining example of what modern metal should be and is entirely original. At first you may think there is too much going on but with patient listening you will realise its genius. The musicianship of sikth is phenomenal, the complexity of the instruments especially drums and guitar is awe inspiring. The dual vocalists are also extremly talented and very different, one of the best features of Sikth, the only similarity would be with the vocals of Korn, but with a much wider range.
