Decade - Neil Young

At the moment most people would have seen this advertised on the music channels, I'm not sure that this had been advertised on the terrestrial channels. However the title is correct, this covers a lot of ground for one artist and remains the only compilation that Neil Young has sanctioned of his career so far. (We're still waiting for Decade II and III plus Archives). I?ll try to type it as I?ve got it on triple vinyl, and its easier to say whatever side its on. I was too young to remember any of these hits released first time round, but being an inquisitive fan of music (old and new) I just had to buy this cd. It's a three cd compilation entitled 'Decades' featuring seventy of the very best songs from the nineteen-sixties, seventies and eighties. There's a cd for each one of the decades:- Disc One (1960s) This one is probably my favourite though it's hard to choose! Now I say this CD is very complete for one reason and one reason only. This CD has all the famous Neil Young songs, and the famous CSN&Y songs. Songs like: SUGAR MOUNTAIN I AM A CHILD THE LONER CINNAMON GIRL SOUTHERN MAN OHIO OLD MAN HEART OF GOLD TIRED EYES WALK ON My favourite song of those is the wonderful song, Sugar Mountain. I love this song because I believe this is the greatest traveling song. If you know the song, you know what I mean. It's a great song to drive to. The words just flow from word to word.
