When discussing Delta Goodrem's third studio album, I must point out that there are two different versions floating around. The main one is the record that was originally released at the end of 2007 in Australia. The other was released last year in the United States as Delta made another feble attempt to try and break the American music business. The only huge differences are perhaps the artwork and the fact that the American version includes her huge breakthrough hit 'Born To Try' remastered. I'm going to be reviewing the original album as I imported it from Australia when it was first released. Delta Goodrem shot to fame in late 2002 playing the ... Read the complete review

DELTA is the title of former Neighbours star DELTA GOODREM's album. The album features 12 tracks which I will review. The opening song BELIEVE AGAIN is a powerful track with great emotion particularly in the chorus. The vocals are beautiful while the melodies are soothing and carry the instrumental support along. IN THIS LIFE is a mellow tune with lovely vocals that relax you while your listening. The lyrics are nice and tell a good story with a positive message. POSSESSIONLESS is a song with a terrific intro which brings in Delta's vocals that kick the song into life with a catchy chorus and good piano work. BORN TO TRY ... Read the complete review

Delta is Delta Goodrem's third studio album and contains 12 new tracks. ~~~ALBUM COVER~~~ The album cover I have to admit is slightly more editorial and interesting, more grown up and stylish than her previous two, not that the others were bad. I thought this was a more personal offering, simply calling it "Delta". Whilst the songs I feel are also quite personal, there is a slight change in style and performance, which some feel are for the worse, but I find rather refreshing and new. ~~~TRACKLIST~~~ 1. Believe Again I don't really like this song, it isn't bad but doesn't make you go WOW at all and I tend to ... Read the complete review

I am a confirmed Delta Goodrem fan, her second album 'Mistaken Identity' being one of my all-time favourites, so when I heard she was releasing a third I knew I'd buy it immediately. However, for some reason, 'Delta' has only received releases in Australia and the USA. Undeterred, I paid the import costs without a blink - I really wanted to hear this. So who is Delta Goodrem? Having starred in Neighbours as singer-wannabe Nina, she progressed to a music career which has seen her become the best selling female singer in Australian history. Her first album, 'Innocent Eyes', was hugely successful and the follow-up 'Mistaken Identity' mirrored this. Goodrem's ... Read the complete review

After the huge success of her first two albums Innocent Eyes and Mistaken Identity, Delta follows up with her third album Delta. This album was Delta's weakest album so far. Although this album is by no means bad it's just not comparable with Delta's first two. It seems with this album that Delta has lost a bit of her uniqueness and has turned into a middle of the road pop star, who is beginning to blend into the background. It was obvious with this album that Delta wanted to have a change of direction and I am not sure if it has payed off. I don't want to make this review sound too negative because I am comparing this album to Delta's others. In comparison ... Read the complete review

Soothing atmospheric "dark" electro with great vocals.
Dull and repetitive, with obvious contrast between the club hits and ambience.
