... Keating never learns, a shorter album is much better with 12 great songs rather than an album of 14 songs with just under half being not good enough basically. I only purchased this because of If Tommorow Never Comes, saw the video very good and it reminded me of When You Say Nothing At All. Lovin' Eacy Day is a brilliant song - uplifting and very like Life Is A Rollercoaster. I didnt like Love Won't Work, Come Be My Baby and Pickin' Me Up - they made me cringe, that irish accent and the songs themeselves are that goo...more

Premium Review Destination - Ronan Keating: Destination to Nowhere (371 words)

Rating:

This is an interesting album from someone i dont really like very much at all but i was interested enough to have a chance with the album. Ronan Keating is irish and quite obviously is ex-Boyzone boyband member. He's the most popular and in the 90's crossing over to recently he had a up and down career to being really really massive to being signed. This album was released a couple of years ago, and in my opinion isn't one of his highlights or best. Well for a start there is no When You Say Nothing At All or Life Is A Rollercoaster. Ronan Keating never learns, a shorter album is much better with 12 great songs rather than an album of 14 songs with just under ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ronan Keating's Second Solo Album - Destination. (1092 words)

Rating:

Very often you find that in every boy or girl band there is one member that has that little something extra that makes them stand out among the other members. Take Robbie Williams for example. Clearly the member of 'Take That ' with the most potential and just look at him now. Ronan Keating fits into that catagory. Once the lead singer with the boyband Boyzone. Now Ronan is very successful with his career, both as a solo singer and a manager. Born Ronan Patrick John Keating in March 1977, Ronan was thrown out of his school choir as a boy because the choirmaster said he could not sing and if you have ever seen Boyzone's first performance on Irish ...  Read the complete review

by - written on 25/07/02 (Useful, 586 readings)
Rating:

Ronan Keating - Destination Ronan was never going to have any drastic musical revamp, but you get the sense that "Destination" is an album born out of boredom rather than that driving need to get down the perfect 3 minute pop song down on tape. In the time that preceded the recent number 1 single "If Tomorrow Never Comes", Robbie has disappeared off to LA with Rachel Hunter and apart from Enrique there are really no viable competitors to compete with the Irish Prince Of Pop. Again Ronan has teamed up with the writing partnership of Greg Alexander and Rick Nowels for "Destination" and its this formula that makes Stock Aitken and ...  Read the complete review
