Interesting dominance of folk instruments.
Brief, and the metal performance is uninspired.
The Time Of The Oath - Helloween
A couple of catchy choruses and guitar riffs.
Incredibly average and uninventive.
Walls Of Jericho - Helloween
Pioneering power metal.
Rooted in the 1980s.

None
Beyond Hell - GWAR
Competent modern thrash.
No original ideas, and too much focus on the daft lyrics.
Scumdogs Of The Universe - GWAR
Creative crossover-thrash, with a few genuinely funny lyrics here and there.
Still pretty stupid.
Awaking The Gods: Live In Mexico - Haggard
Highlights of the first two albums, performed impeccably.
Pre-emptive, and annoying crowd noise.
Blessed Black Wings - High On Fire
Heavy and fast stoner doom.
Repetitive song styles.
Blessings From A Blackened Sky - The Sorrow
The bands members are quite talented.
A lack of passion in the sound, no personality whatsoever put across in the music.
