A bit of a disappointment this album, but on saying that they are never going to live up to the first 2 albums they brought out.

The only 2 songs that resemble Oasis at their best off this album are the two that they have released which are "shock of the lightening" and "I'm outta time".
The first track on the album "bag it up" is an impressive start to the album but it's a shame some of the other tracks don't live up to that standard.

Although this album is an improvement on the last album, there are too many weak songs on this album for me I feel with only 4 or 5 songs that really make you feel like Oasis can re-produce the quality from the past decade or so.
They have tried to get back to basics with a good old rock n roll sound which we are used to with Oasis on a few tracks but overall not as good as some of the old stuff.
I suppose I am being a bit harsh on the album as most other bands don't last as long as Oasis and haven't brought out 7 albums of the quality they do but there isn't enough decent tracks on this one.

I cant really see this album winning them many more fans as it's just a mediocre effort.
If you haven't bought an Oasis album in the past then this isn't the one to start off with. Others are preferred.
