Advantages: Strong Album With Few Weak Songs

Disadvantages: Its Not Definitely Ma.......You Know The Rest.

Obvious question out the way first...."is it better than Definitely Maybe or What's The Story Morning Glory?".....no, in my opinion. In my opinion it is, however, the "best of the rest". The songs range from all out rockers (The Shock Of The Lightning) to soulful ballads (Im Outta Time) and cover a few areas in between, mainly "psychedelic". Falling Down is probably the most psychedelic thing to hit the charts in many a year. Im Outta Time probably steals the show on here and is as good a song as Liam Gallagher has or possibly will ever write. Its Songbirds bigger brother and does a good job of making up for Little James. The other songs range from "wow" to "so-so", with The Nature Of Reality being the weakest song to my ears. After a "return to form " with Dont Believe The Truth, they've gone one better with the follow up.

Summary: Not "Classic" Oasis, But Oasis.
