Advantages: The Turning, I'm Outta Time.

Disadvantages: The Nature Of Reality

The gallaghers have for many years recieved a very lackluster response when the headlines in sunday supplements start to reel off the old favourites again; 'Be Here Now.... Again?' 'Definately, Maybe, This Time?' However, The fact of the matter is Noel isnt a post adoloscent with a dream any more, and the other four, just will never walk on water like old monobrow must of felt he was near experiencing during the dizzy A lister days of the 90's.

Dig out your soul is the latest offering from the burnage 2, its offering is good but not A+. As you listen to it, it kind of feels like your waiting for your GSCEs results hoping, pining for the top grade, but knowing you will be greatfully satisfied if you get the C. And thats exactly what Dig Out Your Soul Is, Satisfying. The truely great moments of the Album (To Be Where Theres Life, I'm Outta Time, The Turning, Falling Down.) are too often overshadowed by some very questionable examples of song writing (The rest of the album).

Liams songwriting is the main talking point throughout the other reviews surrounding this album, and i must agree it has improved 'I'm Outta Time' vs. 'Little James' is without exaggeration a battle not to disimilar to the talent battle that would be 'Elvis' vs. Well any mis understood individual that strung themselves along to an x factor audition.

Definately worth buying? Maybe!

Summary: Another failed (but only marginly) attempt for the top.
