Disclaimer II is a revamped version of Seether's original first release with Wind-up Records, Disclaimer. The original version only contained twelve tracks, whereas Disclaimer II now has either sixteen or twenty tracks depending on which version you purchase. Generally the most widely available version now is the twenty track version, but it's worth checking if you order it, to ensure you get the version you're after! The album itself, it filled with catchy hard rock/post-grunge anthems. From the distorted guitars opening up the first track, the slightly disturbing 'Gasoline', right through to almost every song on the album, including all those tracks nearer ... When I first heard about Seether and learned that they had associations with Amy Lee of Evanescence fame; immediately I wrote them off as just another corporate rock band with not much talent whatsoever. After listening to this album however I soon realised that my presumption had not been correct and Seether is in fact a talented, innovative rock band. Although they are not the best band to have ever graced the earth I can definitely see that the band does have a talent for producing the music that they do and can understand why a major label would happily snap them up. Seether have a fair few radio friendly tunes but are by no means cheesy and manage to maintain their ... Read the complete review

Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia - Dimmu Borgir
Nice orchestra...
...shame about the band (well, except the drummer).
Rapture - Dragonlord
Fair forgery of the symphonic black metal style.
No original ideas, and dull execution.
Riders Of The Apocalypse - Demonoid
More great Swedish death metal.
No ideas of its own.
Scream Bloody Gore - Death
Strong debut, with great guitars.
Comparatively weak drums, and tendency towards repetition.
Sign Of Truth - Dionysus
More fun power metal, with great production from Tobias Sammet.
Nothing new here.
Sound Of Perseverance - Death
Hugely enjoyable and talented jazz-prog-death metal.
Structurally screwed.
Sounds From A Bygone Age Vol.2 - Romica Puceanu
Some great recordings of rare tracks
Misses some of Romica's best works
Spiritual Healing - Death
Perfects the early death metal style, and is ready to move on.
Still a little repetitive once each song hits its stride.
Redemption - Divine Empire
The best elements of death metal.
All taken from other bands.
Spiritual Black Dimensions - Dimmu Borgir
complex, dark
a bit monotonous
