Creating music for such a film isn't easy-especially when the stakes are so high.What might be the biggest crossover film from Bollywood,My Name Is Khan is presented jointly by 20th Century Fox and stars bollywood's king Shahrukh Khan.Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy are entrusted with the soundtrack, a soundtrack that can do justice to the script and enhance the storytelling. 'Sajda' starts off brilliantly,the female vocals are soothing and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan starts off well too. What I don't really like about the song is the fact that it becomes too happy,too upbeat-and that was probably not required for such a song. I thoroughly enjoyed Vol. 1 of The In-Kraut selection but was disappointed with the 3rd volume, it was touch and go whether I went ahead and listened to Volume 2 but I'm glad I did. The In-Kraut are compilations of funky and psychedelic music from Germany, there was quite a movement at the same time as Kraut-rock. There's not a great deal traditionally German about the tracks and they generally have more in common with US garage rock or early funk but there's numerous catchy work in here. Volume 2 has more in common with Volume 1, there are few of the funky but elongated disco numbers that can be found on Volume 3 but instead some raunchy guitar playing, catchy vocals ...
