Rush, who are a Canadian rock band, started out in the 1970s and were influenced by the heavy metal sound. They were often compared to Led Zeppelin. The hard rock sound remained thorughout their earlier albums, but Rush have also found a new identity and sound. Still passionate, but with, I think, more intelligence. Rush gradually introduced new instruments such as keyboards and even African and Indian percussion instruments, as they wanted to explore different sounds. Rush had some pretty great songs, but it's time for Rush to hang up the coat and stay home with their famlies. I'm not saying that Rush isn't good anymore, I just think that if they keep going, they'll be sellouts. They should stop while the getting's good. Rush does it for me on certain days, when the air is fresh, the day has begun, Rush can be refreshing. At the end of the day when the air is stale and the sun is going down, Rush does definately not do it for me. They had some great songs in their day, but now they need to quit while the getting's good. I'm sorry Rush, you don't do it for me. ...
