Infiniment: 40 Chansons - Jacques Brel
A great Jacques Brel collection of classic songs
Some great songs not in the collection but you can't fit them all in!
In Search Of The Lost Chord - The Moody Blues
Original, psychedelic, distinctive Moodys sound, an extra hour of music
The original album was quite short
Icky Thump - White Stripes
Some more killer rock tracks from the saviours of modern rock
A few dud tracks spoil it a little
I Am Me - Ashlee Simpson
Lots of variation in genres and styles of tracks; brilliant, strong and unique vocals
Not as many stand out tracks as her earlier album
How To Get Everything You Ever Wanted In Ten Easy Steps - The Ordinary Boys
The first half of the album is packed full of promise
The second half of the album is a massive bore
How To Save A Life - The Fray
'How To Save a Life' and 'Over My Head' are excellent tracks.
Most of the album is highly disappointing.
Holst - The Planets; Egdon Heath, Op. 47
Fantastic orchestrations, great drama, excitingly colourful, very enjoyable
Colin Matthew's Pluto addition a huge mistake
Greatest Hits - Psychedelic Furs
A good introduction to an underrated band
Many of the best early tracks missing
Greatest Hits - Space
Some good tracks
Some great tracks missed off
Glassworks - Philip Glass
As elegant an introduction to Glass' music as it is a source of joy to the inititated
None to this enthralled listener
