The song 'Dragonheads' itself is quite slow for the band's usual standards, but very atmospheric, and harks back to the style of the first album more than anticipating the third. 'Warrior's Quest' and 'White Storm' are both high quality considering they're taken from a demo, and despite showing a little amateurishness compared to the later releases, they still showcase everything that's enjoyable about the band, the latter song ...more

More of the same, if you liked the last one. More of the same, which is disappointing.

Good music, wide appeal Start and enda bit pop-y and over-produced?

Heavy Metal - 1993

Perfectly composed and executed symphonic doom metal. Twinkly keyboards are slightly irritating in Chapter VIII.

Band still continues to evolve. Cluttered and chaotic, loses the folk elements.

Experimental death metal, foreshadowing major sub-genres. Overlong.
