Drama - Bananarama

This is one of the newer Bananarama albums, though you could be forgiven for not having heard of it. 'Drama' did not set the album charts alight and disappeared sooner than it had arrived. At this stage in their career, Bananarama were Sara and Keren, plodding on with the music, but with a dancier slant than before. The album opens with the slinky 'Move In My Direction' which has some sublime vocals and a generous dose of tango in the beat. In fairness to the duo, it is a not a bad pop song and is on a par with anything Lisa Scott Lee was knocking out at the time.
