... what it should. You get all of the great tracks on two CD's in the order they appear in the film so if you have seen the film you know where the song comes in the plot and at the ends there are a few bonus items that you don't get on the DVD inclusing another version of 'Patience' and 'One Night Only' Is it worth the money? I think I paid about £8 in teco at the time so yes, it is worth the money. But I find that I skip tracks that I don't like as much such as 'I Miss you Old Friend' and the studio version of 'Wh...more

Rating:

For a film synopsis read my other review. I got the soundtrack the day after I saw the film cos' I just thought the music was excelent. It's a two disc CD with all of the songs from the movie 'dreamgirls'. Firstly it was noce to see all of the trcaks on the one CD, unlike other musical films that cash in on two albums (think Moulin Rouge!!) As a soundtrack it does excatly what it should. You get all of the great tracks on two CD's in the order they appear in the film so if you have seen the film you know where the song comes in the plot and at the ends there are a few bonus items that you don't get on the DVD inclusing another version of ...  Read the complete review

Products similar to Dreamgirls - Soundtrack

Great, heraldic and melodic music from start to finish Maybe too overbearing at times; discredits older themes; "Not by John Williams"; Stupid songs

Imaginative, well-constructed fun adventure music with a pseudo-futuristic patina A little disjointed perhaps and the make-weight score is unremarkable

Well performed with a great orchestra and brilliant singers Detailed music that needs a few runs before you get used to it

Great soundtrack Not typical Bon Jovi

Interesting piece, beautifull, well written Bad choice of soloists for this piece

Complex, intellectual and a great horror score But, as horror scores go, suffers from same problems of not being a very "nice" listen

No More Color - Coroner
Less showy. Indecipherable vocals.

Dominator - Cloven Hoof
Fun eighties heavy metal about space and stuff. Lousy production job spoils everything, and the music is a little less original.

En Tierra Firme - Ars Amandi
For folk metal fans. There are many better alternatives.

Navajo Joe - Ennio Morricone - Soundtrack
An infectuously wild and fun spaghetti western from the pen of the maestro Slightly repetitive, but not to any great detriment

J.E. Heartbreak - Jagged Edge
Consistent A couple of tracks let it down

Tha Carter - Screwed & Chopped - Lil' Wayne
Hip-Hop & Rap - 2004

Battleheart - Battleheart
Strong and impressively varied debut from the Scottish pirates. More clichéd than later releases, and some weaker songs.

The Last Men on Earth - Balzac
A few songs rip off the Misfits without quoting directly from their songs, which is a start I guess. Sub-par copy-cat act.

Satan's Wept - Moon

Volkurah / Bone Awl / Hammer 5 / Vordr - Split Release
Stripped down black metal / punk Not particularly good
