Dreaming Neon Black - Nevermore

Dreaming Neon Black is Nevermore's 4th album - released in 1999 on the Century Media label, it's fairly long and most songs are around 5 minutes long with some considerably longer. Whilst Dreaming Neon Black has some of the trash metal elements that Nevermore's other work does, it also has a slower emotional melancholy sound which is to denote the concept of the album which is a man falling into insanity following the death of his girlfriend, this is to some extent based on the life of singer Warrel Dale whose girlfriend left him to join a religious cult and was never seen again except for in his nightmares where she was drowning and calling out for help.
