I don't think that Dude Ranch is as refined or as catchy as their most famous effort, Enema Of The State, but that's hardly surprising considering it was made in 1997 and was thus just as the band were really finding their feet. This album is characterised by a stark difference to what would become Blink's signature sound - this is a lot more ... Read the complete review

Dude Ranch by Blink 182 is one of the many fantatsic albums released and I really do think it is an excellent one. The album was released in June 2007 and the songs are of a very similar style to other Blink 182 albums. I bought this album for £10 from HMV but you can now get it for just £4 from Amazon which really is an amazing price for an album ... Read the complete review

Dude ranch by blink 182 was the first full studio album by the band. It was released in 1997 and sprung them to fame in the punk pop, punk rock scene. The only thing I don't over like about this album is that all the tracks aren't that good quality, however they did release a greatest hits later on which had all the best songs re-done, ... I told a friend recently that "Dude Ranch" was, in my opinion, the greatest of Blink's albums. They scoffed at me, and asked me if I was mad! But I do genuinely feel this album has something special... something raw that the later albums could never quite get back. Yes, the production quality is extremely poor. Yes, the ... Blink 182: Dude Ranch: As I am a Blink 182 Fan I Know practically every track word for word. I think that the tracks on this album are not as good as the ones on Enema of The State or Take off Your Pants and Jacket... Pathetic: I mainly only play this song when some-one has annoyed me over something ... Read the complete review

blink-182's Dude Ranch is, in my opionion, one of the best albums ever prodcuced. blink-182 got really big in 1999 but this was their best music. It has a more punk sound than most of thier well known albums. This is similar their earliest albums, for you old blink fans. If you are a fan of blink-182, I would strongly recommend this one. The title is an opinion in itself, not only that but it speaks volumes of how much better they are than anybody else. Dude Ranch is not only an excellent album, its also funny. Its not only funny because of songs like 'voyeur' and 'degenerate', between some of the songs are funny clips (which are mark tlkin and sum other ... Read the complete review

Ah Blink-182, my favourite band of all time. I'm a big fan and I mean big. I even celebrate Mark Alan Hoppus' birthday every year! Well, although this isn't Blink-182's best album (I reserve that right for their insanely funny live record), it is definitely the best modern punk rock album ever made. Not since NOFX's ... "Dude Ranch" is a lot worse than "Enema of the State" or "Mark, Tom and Travis Show" but I still gave it five stars. Both mark and Tom's voice sound different but Tom's is really bad and creaky. The best song on the album is easily "Apple Shampoo". Don't be put off by the name it's a great song. Other songs like "Voyeur" and "Pathetic" ... Read the complete review

Dude Ranch made me certainly a happy bunny, after starting with the newer and going back to its younger days, I was pleasantly suprised that the blink fellows made a more punky sound than there pop punk class they come into now ! dude ranch is a cd that all teenagers can relate to as it involves crude lyrics and topics they use in there songs. ... Many people may not have recognised Blink 182 until their highly successful album in 1999 called "Enema of the State". But I can guarantee you that 15-track "Dude Ranch" set the ball rolling for the band that some call the pop-punk kings. Many did not have a clue who Blink 182 were when this album was released but for the few ... Read the complete review

Having become hugely successful with 1999's Enema Of The State, a lot of people forgot (or didn't know about) the bands previous releases, but in particular Dude Ranch. Made in 1997 just before the bands original drummer, Scott Raynor left, this albums shows what the band eveolved from, when they made Enema Of The State. A lot of people ... Read the complete review

What made Blink 182 famous? Was It 'Enema Of the State'? No. It was a little single from this album which rocketed sky high. That single is known to everyone as 'Dammit'. It made this album Blink 182 famous, 2 years before 'Enem Of The State'. However the single was only really big in America. Over here they remained ... Read the complete review

Blink 182 are one of my favourite bands, and this may be their best album. It contains what it widely believed to be their greatest song (the fantastic "Dammit"), along with the other singles "Josie" and "Apple Shampoo." Having become a big band in the UK in 1999 with the release of Enema of the State, Blink 182’s previous releases probably get overlooked by a lot of people, who have just heard their latest release. The release before Enema of the State, which was released in 1997 and called Dude Ranch just shows you just how good Blink 182 are and I think ... Read the complete review

The album which many Blink fans believe is there best album - and it is very hard to disagree. You may know Blink182 as Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis barker, but Dude Ranch is before Travis Barker and the drummer is Scott Raynor. Following on from the 1994/5 release of "Cheshire Cat" on Cargo Records, impressive sales meant that the unassuming San Diego trio of Mark Hoppus, Scott Raynor and Tom DeLonge meant that blink-182 finally got themselves signed to a major label, MCA. Unofficially the band's fourth album (Flyswatter/Buddha/Cheshire Cat all ... Read the complete review
