The Singles 1996-2006: Parental Advisory - Staind

music from time to time, and this is one album that I really like from today s generation of rock music. I m not the target audience specifically, but Staind aren t the youngest rockers on the market at present which makes them a bit more accessible to the wider audience than some of the immature bands out there. The Singles 1996-2006 basically includes all the best singles from the band that were released within that decade. It s an awesome album to own if you re into Staind because you love some of their catchy singles, rather than being a young groupy that wants or feels the need to own all of their individual albums. I wanted an album that would have the tracks ...

Comparisons with Limp Bizkit are inevitable, but unfounded, as the music really is quite different. Infact, it's hard to find anyone to ...

A disappointment but one I expected. Any band that are huge in America are usually overrated. Like the God-awful 'Creed' (no pun intended - well just a little one) 'Staind' wail about the futility and inevitable pain of the human condition when they should just be getting on with life and writing tunes that wont make you want give up altogether. The really disappointing aspect of this album is that it is not actually bad, rather just lazy and thrown together in an attempt to sound like every other grunge band that has gone before. 'Nirvana', 'Alice in Chains', 'Dinosaur Jr', etc, etc, etc, have all been stolen from but to no avail. 'Staind' ...

Better than Bouncing Off Satellites. Boppy and updeat.
Nothing new in this album, same silly lyrics and plastic sounding tracks. Irritating at best.
