Advantages: Meaningful Lyrics, melodic

Disadvantages: nothing spectacular

Everlast also known as Whitney Ford and Erik Schrody is singer, songwriter and rapper on 'Eat at Whitney's'. His last single 'What it's like' was Grammy nominated and a chart hit. This album draws from blues, rock, folk and classical as well as it does from his hip-hop roots. Everlast have even used Carlos Santana on the track 'Babylon Feeling' which is a fairly heavy rock track with great guitar licks. 'We're all gonna die' has a nice melody and features the high-pitched backing vocals of Cee-Lo. Out of the 13 tracks only 3 of them are what you would call rap tracks. The rest feature Everlast strumming and picking away at his guitar, spinning his tales of life. There's a rugged edge and flair with the and if you are someone who appreciates hip hop then this is certainly an album to purchse.

Overall, this is a good album with very melodic songs and deep, meaningful lyrics that are sung from the heart.
