Advantages: All great quality - Quality not quantity

Disadvantages: Only 12 tracks

I would deffinatly not class my self as a big fan of Feeder, not because I do not like the style of music, but becasue they have never come into the limelight with a single that caught my attention. All this changed when I listend to the single 'Buck Rogers' from their album 'Echo Park'. The band have been around for a while now, but Echo Park is what really brought them nationwide fame. Feeder are perhaps a bit of a difficult band to class, mostly indie guitar, but on other tracks go more rock/nu-metal with louder sounds. For my personal preferance I do not like any Limp Bizkit/Korn, but will give anything from the Offspring to the Stereohonics to the Manics a listen. Feeder and this album in particular appealed to my tastes, and I would recomend it.

Echo Park contains the two singles 'Buck Rogers' and 'Seven Days in the Sun', which will be the most recognisable for fans and non-fans alike . The album contains a good variety of soft songs, like 'Tell all your Friends' and 'We can't Rewind'.but some of the other songs like 'Bug' 'Under the Weather' and 'Choke'are much heavier, but just as good. I can honestly say that there was not one song that I really did not like. There will also be something here for anyone, another good point that it is not all hard rock, and all sorts of people can listen in and enjoy it. A truely great selection of songs!

All in all it ammounts to 12 songs, each around 3-4 mins, so lasting a total of three quarters of an hour. All are really good songs, and I can say for me there was not a single song that I did not enjoy. My personal favourites were the first single Buck Rogers, also We Can't Rewind and Choke. All were good quality songs with meaningful words, well sung by lead singer Grant Nicholas who also plays lead guitar, Taka Hirose who is from Japan on bass and Jon Lee on drums. The songs are all very well sung, not just screaming, and
making as much noise as possiable, like some so called bands. This is my personal preference, as in I prefer this to other music, where good talent is coming through to make a good record, no disrespect to others, but for me Echo Park shows Feeders musical quality. Nice one.

Interesting op, maybe a little more details as to some of the individual songs? Not bad at all though :-)
