Advantages: good singles and well produced

Disadvantages: majoirty of the tracks appear as fillers

What first drew me to this album was the two singles - buck rogers and seven days in the sun. These two shouty chorus anthemic songs just sounds so good under the summer sun. if you haven't heard either of them, buck rogers was the return of the band with a huge song that has made it onto almost all indie compliation albums. the chorus is so singable that even the most tone deaf of us will be singing along with it.

The real highlight of the album though is the second single. This is an infectuous guitar driven song that really doesn't sound like the rest of the album. this song really is one to jump around to! The rest of the album by comparison to these two songs is very different. it is quieter and more relaxed and uses many different effects on both the guitar and the vocal. While these two singles were in your face songs, the rest of the album is very much an ambient chillout sound.

We can't rewind, turn and oxygen all have the makings of hit songs, with their icy sounding vocals and the relaxed single guitar part. howeve, other than these songs, I don't really find much else of interest on the album. it really passes me by with certain elements of the remaining songs standing out but the large part of them just becoming album fillers! after such a good previous album, I think most feeder fans will be disappointed and those fans who want to listen to the album because if the two singles should beware, the album follows a very different style and sound!
