Echoes is the latest album from Pop Idol Winner Will Young. The album was released in the United Kingdom in August 2011 and so is very recent. This album is Will's fifth album. The album is currently available to buy from Amazon for a price of £8.93 which I think is good value for money.

Wow! I can't believe it has been ten years since Will Young won Pop Idol. If I am honest, I never saw what all the fuss was about - I much preferred Gareth Gates - but now I can't stand Gareth and really like Will. I can now see what all the fuss was about.

I really like this album; it has some really good songs. What I like about it, is the fact that you can listen to it all the way through without having to skip songs (I find that quite stressful when listening to an album where you have to skip as you can't relax). But this album is great - it's like it tells a story (and a great story at that) from start to finish.

Will has a good voice - I hadn't really realised until a few months back. He has quite a 'calming' kind of voice - the kind of voice which you could happily listen to over and over again.

Each song brings something different to the album; there are some ballads, some 'chilled-out' kind of songs as well as some upbeat ones. There are songs on here to suit everyone's tastes. The mixture of songs on here also means that there is songs on here to suit different moods too, whether your happy, sad or in the party mood.

The songs which stand out the most for me are: Jealously, Runaway and Hearts of Fire. Although to be honest they are all really good songs and I can't really pick an absolute favourite.

Will has really put his all into this album and his hard work has really paid off - you can tell just by hearing this brilliant CD.

Now this is a big thing - Will also wrote the songs on this album - now that's what a real artist does. And great songs they are too. I like the fact that the songs are very personal to him, as you feel like he is telling you a story that is personal to him, rather than singing any old songs which don't have no meaning. So this is a good thing.

This album definitely shows why Will Young has managed to stay in the charts for such a long time! He's a star with real talent!

I would definitely recommend this album to everyone - it's soulful-needs makes it such great easy-listening.
