This has got to be my favourite album out of all of hers. The songs are just fantastic. They are depressing, I will give you that with one or two f them, but the others are slow, happy songs that make you feel better about yourself. She sings like an angel and I just couldn’t live without her music. If you have read my candyfloss and medicine review, you will know that this woman is my hero. “Eddi Reader” is the 2nd solo album of former Fairground Attraction singer Eddi Reader. I never thought I would find myself listening to folk influenced music, but Eddi is an exception! I got into Eddi in 1998. I saw her perform at a tiny local venue and was totally blown away. I went in to the gig with an open mind, not knowing what to expect, and found that Eddi has an amazing voice, and knows how to get great sounds out of a guitar! After, I bought all of her albums.
