There have been countless numbers of Elvis compilation albums released over the years and some of them have almost the exact same tracks on them and this is done because record companies know that Elvis fans will buy them even though they have the songs on them on a million other albums. There have been a great many Elvis compilation albums released over the years. They can't really be aimed at Elvis fans as they surely own all of the material already - instead they seem to be aimed at trying to lure new fans into the fold, and there's nothing wrong with that! THE KING is just such an album. Released in 2007 it is a 2 disc set featuring over 50 classic tracks sung by my favourite performer, The King Of Rock And Roll himself, Elvis Presley.
