Advantages: Excellent second album, very original
Disadvantages: none
Definitely one of the best albums I have heard in 2006. I have quilted this new CD called Empire in a very clever way - I have quilted it up against the side of the stereo with a rainbow straight line to keep the sound of the disc very good. In a perfect allowance of using my ears for an hour I can say Kasabian is a great band to listen to because their music sounds like a fantastic control gang and it simply opens your ears to the types of musicians they would be sounding like, in my view they sound like Oasis, and they sound a bit like a choral society.
The Oasis band I saw was belonging of unhealthy musicians who smoked cigarettes by the stage for no reason and then spat it on the ground. To talk of myself I must say - at school I had smoked cigarettes of a whole variety and I had an idea of spitting the smoke onto the teachers. However the kasabian band were a group of people who enjoyed smoking too much and I have noticed when they bring their instruments along by the stage they don't know anything except cigarettes and I think it would be great for their health to not smoke so much into cigarettes.
Some excellent musical tastes were the influence of kasabian; therefore these musical tastes have been thrown into the CD. Three types of music I hear thrown into the CD are rock and roll, word makers, and dance. These three different types of music mixed together help Kasabian to obtain their success. Kasabian have done this mix of rock and roll, word makers, and dance for good reason and it is thrown in with such a likely extent. It works better than it knows, as it is hard to dislike a song which plays itself like a brilliant made-of-England song and plays its way to the charts - my ears must receive music that works like that. I am not very hard to myself but listening to this music = it makes me very happy for having ears.
Would I like to be in the kasabian band? Yes I would definitely wish to join their band and play guitar or drums. I meet a king who makes the sound of a mosquito (a really playable sound HUUUUUUUUR) I say to the king that makes a fireable sound that Kasabian music is very faded music which means it is good creative work. But it is even better than that first album called, "Kasabian" (that CD plays like a book), it was a good record, which only went five ways for me, Processed Beats, Cut Off, Reason is Treason, Club Foot and LSF. Club Foot was a fantastic recording because it sounded like a foot that used its leg for a purposed unit and got treated in the knocking sound of a betrayal, and LSF was like an old friend who knew to always call you a genius. It was, you know, one of my favourite albums of the year was it your favourite?
I do worry about having to review the Empire album because I believe you are an incredibly botchy reader who reads too fast and you miss the words. But no other reviewers worry too much about botchy readers. I was thus inclined to weigh myself and find out that I weigh 100 CDs. A weight like that means that, you can think of me as a thin reviewer who fingers the keys in a diagonal way and is not able to skip some of the words that always fit together in order to read and not hear the words. It is the type of review like how you would read with your eyes and only become more in reason to quilt the essential album like I have mentioned you do above.
Nevertheless, I said to myself that Kasabians first album is a mandatory thing and to believe that you really have to know which songs are the songs that go the five ways. Given the fact that the album exhibits a message it is indeed that the CD plays just like a book with the titles of the songs becoming the chapters and required reading becomes required listening. With this Empire album Kasabian have created a kind of a new kind of cleaned up listen which would be filled with brilliant quiltable songs and not just 5 songs to be quilted. In this Case, if you play the album now I will tell you, this is the REAL Kasabian!
Musical influences are extremely evident in those types of Gallagher vocals on some of the songs. Although Kasabian have not earned the reputation of oasis, they work together and they belong of the same race, Oasis band and Kasabian band is like brothers. Anyone reading this review could be anyone so it could be a person called Mr.H Ben, just as it could be a mother reading it or a group of nuns.
In all ways Kasabians musical talent is used in musical emended songs sometimes sounding similar of Oasis (line edged, one of the greatest bands I know), Chemistry Bros but thrown in with these two bands is the mix with a net model of their very own creation. Kasabian on the grounds of a group artist I will have to say they function quite strange as they seem to appear like 1 guitarist who wears a very nice hat and is miserable and 3 other musicians who all look the same as a laughing joker. .. .. However the Empire album will remain VERY MUCH MY PROPERTY for 10 years or more. It is in this album I hear the music I love but it needs no more explanations, I could not really write 3 pages why I like an album because I am not clever to write 3 pages but, I have certainly written 3 pages which is a surely a good number of words.
Each and every song on Empire, I completely appreciated with my ears, and it is definitely not an option to skip any songs like you might have done with Kasabians first album. The starting song is given the same title as the album, it is an excellent start as it is very consoling, the next song you are hearing is a very new song called shoots the runner it is the song you love to dance with. I usually have favourite's songs on an album but, strangely enough, I can't decide which songs are my favourite I like them all the same. Waking up at 6.00 of the clock I quilted the Empire CD and it sounds more like the day of music I wish it to be (which I prefer), and not any day with a fringiest little TV show that would take my eyes (which I do NOT prefer).
To speak of the albums artwork I will describe it to you completely. It looks like the king of clubs who is holding a girl (you think she is the queen). It is painted to look especially like the king of clubs playing card but the queen appears like she does not wear any clothes just for the CD. If you go to the CD and open the paper it shows drawn pictures of the musicians belonging to Kasabian.
There are no other words for it, "Empire is an imperious lunge" for the volume of Kasabians music, which has progressed in one year, and which, is matured. It really honours me to live on planet Earth because it is a world where there is always music worth buying.
Summary: Each and every song on Empire, I completely appreciated with my ears

sonic0209 - 23/01/08 I think I understood about 5% of your review, but the reference to the 'Chemistry Bros' and your overall sentiment (I too love this album) has won me over!! |
