talented,strong,good recording - Advantages: pretty voice, hi tech music, wise lyrics - Disadvantages: poster is too sexy, music is too hi than the voice, duets were not clearly heard

With an album entitled Enchantment, I had a feeling that this offering would be somewhat different and special compared to Charlotte's previous albums. For one, the album cover shows a grown up and beautiful Charlotte. No longer the little girl but still with a voice of an angel. I am not one who usually listens to classical or church music but lately I find myself being more adventurous and open to the numerous different genres available. I first saw a video clip of Charlotte's duet of The Prayer and thought that it was just beautiful. After sampling the other tracks in Amazon, I decided to go on and give the album a go. A few months ago I was out for a drive around Fife - there was a reason, but you'll have to look up reviews on "Car Boot Sales" to find it! In the smallish town of Leven I had a wander around John Menzies, and found a Charlotte Church tape called Enchantment. Thinking of the long drive home, I admired the £6.99 price and took a squiz at the track list. The first thing I noticed was the lack of "churchy" music and opera, neither of which I am overly keen on. Like many people, I have always associated Charlotte Church with opera and church music, probably because her career up until now has been largely based around such music. ...
