Russell Watson has the ability to sing classical and contemporary pieces. The collection offered on this album, 'Encore', shows this to best effect. The second track shows the fabulous power and range of his voice and is enough to make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Track 12 ' E Lucevan Le Stelle' gives me the shivers as it seems to resonate through the room. The power of this man's voice is undeniable. Contemporary pieces like 'You Are So Beautiful' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' are also given the special Russell Watson treatment with some fabulous harmonies.. His rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody is very much his own style and nothing like the original ...
