Advantages: Background music!

Disadvantages: Too progressive sounding for me

Endless Sky is a 1983 album by Ashbury. The band tend to play hard rock with clear vocals, the riffs tend to be rather like early Black Sabbath and the lyrics and vocals are more on par with something Uriah Heap would come up with.

Despite all this Britishness, the band also have something really catchy about them and also go for the occasional gritty blues solo which brings yet another sound to tracks on this album - a more American sound. With tracks like "Hard Fight" and "Vengeance", you'd expect the band to have an aggressive sound but it's far more dreamyish and the band apart from the pop doom riffs have little edge, the vocals of the lead singer are never out of tune and sound like a wizard is singing!

Perhaps the album cover could shine more light on exactly what is going, as there is a wizard like creature peering into a valley surrounded with mountains! This is essentially a hard rock stoner version of the band America and it's really not bad!
