Sebastien Tellier takes time off from his usual dance ventures to offer the French entry. 'Divine' is an acceptable affair, without pushing the credibliity. Greece's Kalomira sings' Secret Combination ' which is a pretty exciting affair, with sprightly vocals and slightly mysterious lyrics.

You either love or hate Eurovision and I am proud to say that I take a small amount of pleasure in it each year. My friends throw Eurovision parties and dress up as different countries, on the night of the competition. This two disc compilation collects all the entrants from the 2008 year. Gisela's 'Casanova' is cheerful and upbeat, if not heavy on the cheese. Her girly vocals are a delight though and it is a promising start to the album. No Angels are big buisness in Germany and their song 'Disappear' could not have had a more apt title. It is unmemorable and weak in melody.
