Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front - Busta Rhymes: Busta's not at his usual best (225 words)

Like a spaced out urban ball player Busta Rhymes has been preaching of apocalyps ever since his solo album came out. This is to show how they rebuild shit from the top. And thanks to young beat bangerz like Swizz, Nottz, and the underrated DJ Scratch, E.L.E is a full blast sensory assault design to play loud with apology. Lyrically Busta does alot with what is essentially a sound byte style, but the rythm and flow of his rhymes stay the same throughout his cuts. And that unfortunatly is were E.L.E sufferz. I only bought this album for Gimme Some More. I liked the single so I thought I'd buy the album. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The album is consistent and well produced. Some of the samples that are used in the album are quite funny. However, this album is very hard, its a very dark album, you can tell that it has been influenced by a lot of rock music, but still maintains its hip hop roots. It’s the sort of music that bands like Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit should sound like. Proper rock and proper hip hop not watered down versions of both. Busta Rhymes follows up When Disaster Strikes.. with Extinction Level Event, which is a much better album. This has got to be one of the best albums that Busta Rhymes has released so far, because it contains lots of excellent tracks. The best of which are Tear Da Roof Off, Gimme Some More, Is They Wildin Wit Us & Getting Rowdy Wit Us?, What's It Gonna Be?! which features Janet Jackson, and This Means War!! featuring Ozzy Osbourne. If you like Busta Rhymes and his unique style of hip-hop then you should definitely buy this album because it is well worth the money. ...

Intriguing and diverse. Still some weak links, though less than usual.

Astralism - Astral Doors
A more energetic take on the Astral Doors sound. Subject matter feels a little too arbitrary.
