Advantages: All very summery catchy songs.

Disadvantages: Not to everybodies taste.

BWOs sound is all too often likened to 1980s Electro-Pop bands such as The Pet Shop Boys, Erasure and even Abba (Alexandra Bard claiming they were the missing link between Abba and Kraftwerk) Their sound is classic Eurovision, the perfect mixture of Dance, Electronica and Pop. They're pinned as showing the more commerical side to Swedish Pop, even with their statement outfits and out-there music videos, since forming in 2004 they've gained fans worldwide.

Released September 2007 in Sweden (March 2008 UK) as BWOs 4th Album Fabricator reached #6 in the Swedish album chart and #24 in the Swedish i-Tune chart.

Being my not so secret guilty pleasure this is my second bought BWO and worth every penny in my opinion. They are, in a way, an acquired taste, but with the likes of The Pet Shop Boys coming back on the scene our music tastebuds might be ready for them.

Track Listings:

Last Flight to San Francisco - Compaired to their other songs this sounds like a subdued verison of themselves. It's no doubt catchy but it feels like they left the glitter glue pens at home when they wrote this - Which admittedly, some people would say is a good thing.

Give Me The Night - Really catchy, annoyingly addictive backing music. Alexandra Bard ticked all the boxes with this track.

Let it Rain - This seems to mainly show the range of Martins voice, complete with a bit of clapping, and some fantasitcally camp extending of words (eg ray-ay-ay-ain) You can't help but lower the musical talent by singing along. Or bringing music quality to an all time low in my case.

The Destiny of Love - This is a really simple song! Gorgeous vocals and music - The lyrics are pretty cliche if not slightly embarrasing if sung by anyone else. But they somehow make it work.

Gomenasai - Japanese for I'm Sorry (or something along those lines!) Mentally adding that into the song helps it makes a bit more sense. Classic BWO lyrics and beats make this an instant classic.

We Should be Dancing - The lyrics to this song make no sense at all, but it doesn't make it an ounce less entertaining. With classic 'oooh's and 'aaaah' backing you can't help but remember this one.

Stay With You Again - If it was socially acceptable to have a crush on a song this would be mine. Really calming vocals, story like lyrics and steady, catchy electronic backing.

Rhythm Drives Me Crazy - Even with worrying lyrics like 'Pump me up I fly beyond' it all makes for a fun track. And back to working on that 'socially acceptable to have a crush on a song' angle, if Stay With You Again was washing his hair this song would be my back up.

Save My Pride - This in a way is a 'cover' song but 20 times better than Alcazars version. The video for this is typically weird, nicely overdosing on lazers and Animal headed people dancing around in white boiler suits.

Happiness - Quite an odd song I wasn't too sure on the first time I heard it. But it has grown on me. Really weird vocals ranges, going from high to deep within a word. Adding in some electronic voices that switch back to normal singing half way in. Its a very mixing song and the shortest on the album at 2:54.

Hooked on the Danger - The vocals are quite clipped in the verses of this song. Perfect electronic song, with BWOs classic backing vocals. Once again the lyrics don't make much sense, but once again it doesn't really matter!

Concrete Jungle - I loved the feel of this song from the first beat. I like the mixture of vocals in this one, and for a change clearly using womens vocals for the added lyrics.

Paradise on Mars - You've got to love a song that starts with 'Do-do-do-da's The lyrics flow like a bit like a love story, with adorably quirky wording.

Chariots of Fire - This song is the one everybody seems to love. It's so happy and up beat it's really hard not too. Even my rock loving sister sings along to this one. Out of all the BWO songs this it the one I want to dance too most. (if God hadn't bless me with two left feet, that is)

Save My Pride (The Attic Remix Radio Edit) - I prefer this to the unremixed verison. Only 29 seconds longer than the orginal but they've managed to cram so many different elements into the track it sounds like a completely different song.

Destiny Of Love (The Attic Remix Radio Edit) - I wasn't too sure about listening to this track remixed. I like the simpleish sound of the orginal, but like the Attic Remix of Save My Pride it sounds like a completely different song.

Yeah I agree with plipplop, music reviews are very hard to write, I used to writes hundreds until I got so annoyed with them I gave up :D. All you need to do is talk a little bit about the sound of the music and it'll be a great review. Please tell me if u do update and I'll be happy to re-rate. Kirsty x

You don't actually describe the sound of anything here. With no knowledge of BWO before reading this, it's hard to say what kind of music this is after reading this.
