... But Seriously - Phil Collins

Rating:
I was a child of the eighties and back then it was impossible to turn on a radio without hearing Phil Collins singing something or other, either as a solo artist or with his band Genesis. Consequently, I had become a big Genesis fan when this solo album by Collins, But Seriously was released in 1989. Whilst I enjoyed most of Collin s solo work until then I was a little more lukewarm about the three albums he d produced so far, finding them a little too pop happy for my liking. I hate Phil Collins ! No... I REALLY HATE HIM ! I was forced to listen to this awful album on a recent car journey and I feel unclean. The mental scars run deep. His whiney little yelp of a voice is like the scream of a kitten being mangled in a mincer. The fact that he left his wife when she d passed her sell by date for a younger model says it all really. What an odious little scamp he is. the track listing is - 1. Wake Up Call 2. Come With Me 3. Testify 4. Don t Get Me Started 5. Swing Low 6. It s Not Too Late 7. This Love This Heart 8. Driving Me Crazy 9. The Least You Can Do 10. Can t Stop Loving You 11. Thru My Eyes ...
