Advantages: Only 1 average song - all others are excellent, great lyrics
Disadvantages: The song Akward. , Gets listened to ALOT!!!, For the ppl who download music, some songs have wrong titles (ie the handsome life of swing is often called kobrakai in MP3 mode format.
Lost Prophets are stunning. I went to Reading Festival and I'd heard of Lost Prophets before so I saw them on one of the stages when I didnt have anything else to do so I went to have a listen and I was blown away. THEY WERE AMAZING! As soon as I got home, I got the album and as far as I'm concerned, its PURE CLASS! Track listing: 1) Intro 2) Shinobi Vs. Dragon Ninja 3) TheFakeSoundofProgress 4) Interlude 5) FiveIsAFourLetterWord 6) ....and She Told Me To Leave 7) Interlude 8) The Handsome Life of Swing 9) Interlude 10) For Sure 11) Kobrakai 12) Still Laughing 13) A Thousand Apologies 14) Interlude 15) Awkward 16) Ode To Summer Tracks 1, 4, 7, 9 and 14 are a strange idea of putting 30-1 min interludes into the album. Very strange.... Anyway, the 1st SONG, Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja may sound like a strange song (cause of the name) but it is PURE CLASS. Its usually the last song on their live set and it is one of the best songs I've ever heard.(9.5/10) This is followed by my personal favourite, TheFakeSoundOfProgress.I Dont know why they have all the wprds togather but it dont matter either! This song is briliant. Once you hear it, its in your head for weeks. I think its the best song on the album personally. (9.9/10) Next is FiveIsAFourLetterWord. This is a good song. It follows the other songs in the same style however is definitly an 'album track' and isnt as good as the previous 2. Very good song non the less however..(8/10) ...and she told me to leave is different to many of the other songs (not only because there are spaces between the words in the title!!!) because it is alot less heavy. However it does have some heavy points and one riff in the song which sounds asthough it could be the chorus (there could be 2) has possibly the best guitar riff on the album. It is really amazing!!! (9/10) TheHandsomeLifeOfSwing. This
is once again a similar song to the rest however it is once again a little different. If your planning to download this, be careful as a mistake has been made which has made half of the songs on the internet called this which are actually 'Kobrakai'. (7/10) For Sure is next on the album. For sure is yet more brilliance from the Lost Prophets. Its not the best song on the album however its definitly a song in their style. Its ok (7.5/10) Korbakai. Anyone who knows the Lost Prophets knows this. THIS IS BRILLIANT. It has a very 'funky' feel to the vers before the pre-chorus suddenly turns into a steady powerfull song. Then the chorus hits and it is amazing. There is a sudden bit of shouting from the DJ who does his bit of singing. THIS SONG IS VERY GOOD. GET IT (download it or just buy the damn album! ITS ALL GOOD!)(9.5/10) Still Laughing is next up. This is a very good song however doesnt match up quite to the level of the big 3 (Kobrakai, Shinobi and TheFakeSoundOfProgress). Nothing against it tho, its still very good.(7/10) A Thousand Apologies - yes spaces again! This song is similar to Shinobi but not quite as good I think. Its a good song heavily influenced by the DJ as you can hear alot of scratching in the background! (8/10) Akward. This starts off with a very strange drum beat and suddenly turns into a good song from there. Strange intro! Unfortunitly, the album wouldnt loose any appeal to me without this song. Its ok but I seem to have a habit of pressing NEXT when it comes on. (5.5/10) Ode to Summer. I press NEXT to get to this! This is a very good song! It starts off with a high guitar riff and it carrys on into a great song. (8/10) Overall, this album is possibly my most listened to album. It has quality guitar riffs, great drum beats and really good lyrics. The lyrics actually mean something which is a nice thing compared to many bands who just look for words that rhyme.

- 16/09/01 Hey, I've seen the Prophets twice now, once at Reading, and once at the Pitz, MK.
Quite a good band, by far one of the better bands of the Nu-metal genre.
I don't think a disadvantage of the album is people don't name their mp3s correctly though...
